New Term rehearsals start Wed January 9th for performance of works by Haydn, Purcell and Gabrieli

Hampstead Chorus is a friendly community choir, led by our inspirational Musical Director, Simon Walton.  Our Autumn term will begin on Wednesday 9th January, when we will begin rehearsing Haydn’s Nelson Mass, Purcell’s Funeral Music for Queen Mary and Gabrieli’s In Ecclesiis for a concert on Saturday 27th April with professional soloists and orchestra.    We meet on Wednesday evenings from 7.30-9.30 in the New Lecture Theatre in the Music School at University College School in Frognal, NW3.  There is no audition: we are looking for the ability to sing in tune, a willingness to practice at home between rehearsals and, above all, enthusiasm for our music-making.  More details are available on our website at
