Award winning violinist Alexandra Lomeiko was born in 1991 and in 1996 she began violin lessons with Natalia Lomeiko (Snr) in New Zealand. In 2006 Alexandra moved to London where she has been very active both as a soloist and a chamber musician, performing in many prestigious venues and being broadcast on BBC Radio 3. She has studied at the Purcell School of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and is currently completing her postgraduate degree at the Royal College of Music. Antonina Suhanova was born in Riga, Latvia in 1991. Since 2000 she has been praised at numerous national and international piano competitions and in 2012 was awarded a scholarship to the Guildhall School to study with Ronan O’Hora. She made her debut performance with the Guildhall Symphony Orchestra and conductor Adrian Leaper at the Barbican Hall in 2016 as a finalist of the Guildhall School’s most prestigious prize The Gold Medal. The programme, sponsored by The Countess of Munster Musical Trust, includes Mozart’s Sonata in E flat Major, K.380, the Sonata No.2. Op.94bis by Prokofiev, Schubert’s Grand Duo and Szymanowski Myths ‘Trois Poémes’ Op.30.
