NFC Summer Workshop Day

From Classics to Swing!
Come and sing an exciting range of music – spanning centuries and styles. From Mozart to Duke Ellington, Mendelssohn to Rutter.
This one-day singing workshop will be led by Angela Kay whose informal, exhilarating and entertaining approach to choral singing is sure to lift the spirits and make the day an enjoyable one for all.
Come and sing a sumptuous Mendelssohn motet, a sparkling opera chorus from Mozart’s The Magic Flute, jazzy Birthday Madrigals by John Rutter and foot-tapping popular classics including Duke Ellington’s It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing and Fly me to the Moon.
And to celebrate Summer, a cream tea during the afternoon – all part of the workshop experience!
All music will be provided on the day.
