Music for Everyone invites players to come and explore the wonderful string orchestra repertoire under the baton of an expert.
Richard Howarth is a distinguished violinist and a dynamic conductor with a wealth of experience leading and directing orchestras. The music Richard has chosen for this workshop day features Verdi's dramatic 'String Symphony' and 'Portraits of Country Fiddlers' by the Finnish composer Pehr Nordgren.
The workshop is to be held on Saturday 13 May at Bluecoat Academy, Aspley Lane campus followed by a performance on Sunday 14 May at St Peter's Church, Ruddington.
The cost of the workshop is £35 (£15 students).
