Spring Concert

For our aptly named 'Spring Concert' we will be joined by professional tuba player Ian Foster who will be performing Edward Gregson's Tuba Concerto.

The concert will also include Nigel Hess’ Global Variations; described as ‘Around the world in 8 minutes’, Robert Buckley’s Free Running; a fast-paced musical romp inspired by painter Seurat’s technique of creating images using tiny spots of colour and Paul Hart’s Cartoon; a homage to the slap-stick animated adventures of a cat’s persistent pursuit of a pesky mouse.
