Phoenix Choir of Crawley, conducted by Samuel Hayes, will be joined by eight professional instrumentalists for this festive musical celebration.
Headlining the programme will be Vivaldi's fabulous 'Gloria'; with its exuberant opening and memorable tunes this piece is always popular with singers and audiences. The opening movement featured in the 1996 film 'Shine' and the 2011 film 'The Hunter'. There will also be several short choral works suited to the season, and a chance for the audience to join in with some of our favourite carols. During the interval there will be an opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine or juice, and mince pies.
St Wilfrid's School is a modern comfortable venue, with easy access for wheelchairs or anyone with mobility problems. There is plenty of free car parking on site, and Metrobus route 23 stops nearby.
Tickets for adults are £13 if bought in advance, or £14 on the door. Tickets for children aged 16 or under are free, with a paying adult, and full-time students’ tickets are £7.
