JF Lampe's baroque opera "The Dragon of Wantley"

Wantley village near Sheffield is terrorised by a child-gobbling dragon, and local hero Moore of Moore Hall is entreated to put his drinking and womanising aside to take matters in hand. His methods are unorthodox to say the least…

This delightful parody of a Handelian opera is a pantomime romp, accompanied by Baroque orchestra and fully staged by Richmond Opera in the lovely Victorian-era Normansfield Theatre.

There will be three performances:

  • Friday 12th November 7:30pm
  • Saturday 13th November 7:30pm
  • Sunday 14th November 2:30pm (matinee)

Tickets are all £19, available online at richmondopera.org.uk or by calling 0333 1212 300.

The Normansfield Theatre is in the Langdon Down Centre, Langdon Park, Teddington, Middlesex TW11 9PS, and has parking.
