IS THIS THE ROLE FOR YOU?
Choral Director. Warwickshire County Choristers and County Male Voices
Closing date: 30 April 2016. Start Date: September 2016 (or earlier by negotiation)
Warwickshire Choristers Charity wishes to appoint one or two Choral Directors to continue the amazing success of its outstanding choral groups. Both Choristers and Male Voices enjoy a very high national reputation and have won numerous national awards. We want this to be sustained and developed.
The postholder(s) will be responsible for recruitment, rehearsals and performances, assisted by an active and committed management team and with strong support from Warwickshire Music and the Creative Hub. Applicants should have a commitment to open access and a passion for working with young singers, especially trebles and changing male voices. The ability to energise and enthuse young people is more important than extensive choral experience.
This is a part time post. Significant remuneration (by negotiation) will be available for the right candidate(s) and there are likely to be opportunities for further paid work.
Please email the Trustees of Warwickshire Choristers at firstname.lastname@example.org, for details of the post and how to apply. You are also very welcome to contact Garry Jones, founder and present Director, on 07763 757191, or email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
