Youth Music is the UK’s largest children’s music charity, set up in 1999 to promote and support music-making opportunities for children with the least access. Youth Music’s vision is that 'life-changing' music-making is available to all children and young people.
The Foundation currently offers two levels of funding:
Fund A - smaller grants for high-quality projects that will help to achieve the Foundation's vision for a musically inclusive England.
Fund B - medium-sized grants for high-quality, sustained projects that expand and embed musically inclusive practice within and beyond the applicant's organisation.
Grants are available to charitable and non-profit organisations in the UK to support:
Developmental music-making projects for children and young people (up to the age of 25) resident in England, who face barriers to music-making as a result of the circumstances they are in.
Strategic work supporting the development of the workforce, organisations and the wider sector to ensure that high-quality sustained music-making opportunities exist for young people.
Minimum Value £2,000. Maximum Value £200,000.
