A Celebration of Thanksgiving: music from the Americas
Camden Choir
The Camden Choir is going American this November with a concert of music drawn from across both continents. We begin with a Mass by Juan Gutiérrez de Padilla (a 17th-century Mexican composer), then visit some modern North American composers – Samuel Barber, Aaron Copland, Morten Lauridsen and Mark Sirrett among others – and finish with an array of popular songs from the 1930s and 1940s (such as Over the Rainbow, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Tea for Two and more!) The bar will feature wines from South America and St Mary’s own U.S. pale ale to quench your thirst.
General Public: £15.00
