Musica Vera
Musica Vera will perform music from the High Baroque and a little earlier and later, conducted by our Director of Music, David Dewar.
Eve Beech and Nicola Carvell will be our vocal soloists, and Fiona Beck will be our oboe soloist in Marcello's Concerto in d with our orchestra which will also perform Pachelbel's famous Kanon in D
The Gloria by Vivaldi forms the well-known and well-loved final piece; we start with two Tudor/Jacobean anthems, by Thomas Mudd and Thomas Morley, and we will sing Haydn's thrilling motet, Insanae et vanae curae.
