Accompanist

The Dunsford Singers is a really friendly, enthusiatic 40 - 50 strong SATB choir serving the whole Teign Valley community, just south of Exeter.  Our MD is the dynamic, good-humoured, talented and utterly professional Tim Pithers.  We're unexpectedly and urgently seeking a new Accompanist for January 2020. Ideally, we'd like to find someone mature, experienced and with a professional approach, who will work closely with Tim to challenge and bring out the best in us. There is always the opportunity to play at our concerts, too. We tackle a wide range of music, both clasical and modern. Next term's music includes famous Opera Choruses, a couple of G and S choruses, Phantom of the Opera Medley and Bohemian Rhapsody.

We meet on a Monday evening, In Dunsford, 7.30 -9.00pm. Current rates of pay are £45 per rehearsal session/£110 concert day

NB We have a concert at the Teign Valley Community Hall, Christow on Dec 14th 7.30pm if you'd like to come and hear us. We'll be singing Schubert's  Mass in G, Gjielo, Handel and other Christmas pieces.
