PELLY CONCERT ORCHESTRA

TREASURER – JOB DESCRIPTION

 

  1. To collect all subscriptions, concert receipts and other income payments, and pay all monies promptly into the bank.
  2. To pay all bills, invoices etc.
  3. To keep the accounts in good order.
  4. To liaise with HSBC about the administration of the accounts.
  5. To prepare the accounts for the auditor on an annual basis.
  6. To keep the committee and orchestra informed of the financial position of the orchestra.
  7. To advise the committee about the best use of financial resources.
  8. To be responsible for the Performing Rights returns.
  9. To produce the annual Gift Aid return for HMRC.
  10. To produce the accounts for all members to view at the AGM with a Treasurer's Report.
