Less than a month to Make Music Day on 21 June!

Still time to get involved – especially in Edinburgh, Doncaster, Nottingham, York, London, Leeds, Norwich, Yeovil, Watford and Dorking

Lots of exciting spaces have signed up and are looking for more performers – could this be you, your group, a part of your group, your family (one of my sons will be playing the bagpipes in London Bridge Station…), your friends, your children’s school, your work colleagues…?

If you are interested, you can read more on www.makemusicday.org/uk, and then either fill in this form or contact Alison, the project manager, on uk@makemusicday.org, who can advise and help.

Have you already planned an event? Then do let us know: there is information and support available – e.g. a marketing toolkit, including a flyer and press release and poster templates -, and we’re just designing postcards which can be handed out at all events, as well as trying to work out how much we can make available to you in terms of branded materials for the day (banners, T-shirts etc.). If these are of interest, please let Alison know as soon as you can.

Plus of course, you’d want your event listed on our lovely map and shouted about in our promotion, so that many people come and witness it on the day!

Don’t forget this year’s FREE song is Bring Me Sunshine – and you can (you don’t have to!) sing it (practice and backing tracks available) or arrange it for whatever instruments your group plays (there are various versions already available, too…).
