We are a membership organisation that offers a comprehensive range of financial, artistic and administrative services as well as development and training opportunities to amateur music groups. We also lobby on behalf of our members to national and local government and other agencies.

We also work to create valuable partnerships with media organisations, other musical organisations and other charities to develop opportunities for our members. We are currently working with the BBC, Classic FM, the Southbank Centre, the Musicians Benevolent Fund, Sound and Music, the PRS for Music Foundation, St Martins-in-the-Field, Sing Up, British Association of Barbershop Singers and others.
Through this new website, we are now providing a space for all amateur musicians to come together in a community to share experience, ideas and expertise.
