Silence and Music

New London Singers present Silence and Music, a captivating one-hour concert exploring the contrast between peaceful stillness, the power of sound, and how music gives voice to the silent world.

The concert weaves together poetry by Ursula Wood and choral works by a range of esteemed composers, including Ralph Vaughan Williams, Herbert Howells, Gerald Finzi, and James MacMillan. Each musical selection will be thoughtfully paired with a stanza from Wood's poem, creating a tapestry of reflection and emotion.

Conducted by Jamie Powe
