Bristol Reggae Orchestra and Windrush Reggae Choir

We are a collective of about 30 local musicians, who all love reggae! We draw our musical influences from reggae, ska, jazz and classical music and play a mixture of our own original tunes and arrangements of well known classics, from the likes of Bob Marley and Lord Tanamo. We meet alternate Monday evenings in the Malcolm X Centre, St Pauls,Bristol. We are determinedly inclusive of musicians of all protected characteristics and from all backgrounds including musical experience and training. We believe our orchestra is one of the UK’s most unique, inspiring and uplifting community projects.
In 2022 we added The Bristol Windrush Reggae Choir to our charity in reponse to local public demand and thanks to a grant from the government's DCMSH
