Accompanist

Hertford Choral Society wishes to recruit an accompanist from September 2024, the start of our 2024/25 season, as the current post-holder is taking the next steps in their career.

We are a vibrant, friendly community choir of around 100 members, regularly performing four concerts each season, usually at All Saints, Hertford, with professional soloists and musicians. Our programmes include a wide range of music from renaissance to contemporary, both sacred and secular, created and led by Musical Director, Manvinder Rattan.

We rehearse weekly on Tuesday evenings at Sele School, Hertford, and usually have a Saturday workshop once in the season.

We are looking for a high-quality, professional accompanist for our rehearsals to provide support to both choir and conductor, and to become a member of the HCS team.  There is the possibility of playing in the concerts on invitation, for which a separate fee is payable.
