Effra are a contemporary trio whose original music dtaws upon the traditional stylistics of the
British Isles and beyond. Blending these old sounds with elements of classical and jazz composition,
delivered with virtuosity, sensitivity and drive, the group present a sound-world quite unlike anything else.
We try to present something a little different from the usual Chamber Music at our Summer Concert
in the hope that this will attract a wider audience
There is free parking on the main town centre car park, by the Council Offices, after 6pm

There are no tickets for this event; admission is by donation on the night. However, we ask patrons
to bear in mind that the Society does incur the costs of room hire and artists' fees,
in addition to the provision of programme notes and refreshments
