Come, Let Us Sing

An evening of lightish music from three well known composers. Mendelssohn's "Hear My Prayer"  includes that welll known piece which many a treble/soprano has sung at choral contests over the years "O for the wings of a dove". Along with this item is "Come, let us sing" a jaunty piece that gets the feet tapping. On a slightly more serious note is Edward Elgar's "Te Deum and Benedictus", a delight to sing and to finish off the content of the concert is Stanford's "Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis" in B flat.  A good way to start off the year of 2018.
