Croydon Bach Choir - Summer Concert

Our Summer Concert this year on 1 July is a very special one.  As well as Mozart's Coronation Mass and some favourite opera choruses, we are thrilled to be performing the premier of a new commission by Mark David Boden called "Homo Sum", which celebrates multiculturalism.  This has been composed specially for us under Making Music UK's "Adopt a Composer" scheme. BBC Radio 3 will be recording the piece at the concert for later broadcast.  We will be directed by our MD Tim Horton and accompanied by the Croydon Bach Orchestra, in the splendid Croydon Minster.  Adopt a Composer is run by Making Music in partnership with Sound and Music, in association with BBC Radio 3, UK project funded by PRS for Music Foundation and the Philip Dorothy Green Music Trust.
