The Fife Strathspey and Reel Society Annual Rally brings together the full orchestra to play and celebrate Scotland, its wealth of music, and some of its very gifted traditional artists.
Joining us on the evening we have Orla Jones who is a Scottish performer with a bachelor’s degree in musical Theatre. Orla is a soprano with a strong acting background and vast singing repertoire and her instrumental skills include piano, guitar and clarinet.
Also joining us is esteemed Scottish Poet Susan Grant. Susan is also the founder and organiser of the East Neuk of Fife writing group, and Poetry Share, which started three years ago after local poetry enthusiasts met at StAnza and wanted to build on the experience.
The evening will also bring together the talented Sarah Hendry School of Dance where you can watch in wonder in the dancers expertise in the flinging of the kilts.
The evening would not be complete without a wee tune on the pipes from Neil our resident piper, and a wee nip at half time, and a shot at the raffle.
