Handel's Messiah by candlelight will be sung by Fulham Camerata chamber choir on Saturday 18th November in anticipation of Advent and the Christmas season. This wonderful oratorio will be performed with a full orchestra and, best of all, by candlelight to capture the waiting spirit of advent.
Music director of Fulham Camerata is James Day who, while still in his twenties, has a growing national and international reputation as a conductor. He is director of Tiffin Boys' Choir and also of the Pimlico Musical foundation and the Barnes Music festival. He was a prize winning choral conductor at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with distinction in 2015
Fulham Camerata is under the patronage of Sir Ralph Allwood.
