Choir of 36 will perform a number of well known and not so well known pieces, both accompanied and a cappela.
Come along and enjoy traditional Christmas carols: Once in Royal David's CIty, Away in a Manger, In the Bleak Midwinter, God rest ye Merry Gentlemen and O Coma All Ye Faithfull, interspersed with more challengeing pieces: Carol of the Bells, The Hallelujah Chorus, Unto Us a Child is Born, and In Dulci Jubilo. Drift away to the sound of two sublime Chorales from Bach's St John's passion and enjoy what coud be your first hearing of what are surely future classics: O' Radiant Dawn by James MacMillan, Come To Me by Dan Forrest and There Is No Rose by Phillip W. J. Stopford.
Venue is the Haverhill Methodist Church, Camps Road, Haverhill, CB8 8HF and the concert starts at 6pm on the 9th December 2023.
