A spectre, a painting, a birthday present and somewhat dubiously-created visions have all separately inspired our four wonderful pieces for this programme. Dreamy, tender and sometimes nightmarishly exhilarating, the music will hopefully inspire imaginations to recreate the images the composers intended, whilst showing off the musicianship and dexterity of the orchestra.
