Salomé String Quartet
Winners of the Tunnell Trust prize for young Chamber Music Ensembles, the quartet will play music by Fanny Mendelssohn (Adagio from Quartet in E flat major), Felix Mendelssohn (Quartet No.2 Op 13) and Dmitri Shostakovich (Quartet No.3 in F major).
The performers came together in 2016 at the Royal College of Music. They are:as follows:
German-born violinist Haim Choi studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School. Japanese-born violinist Coco Inman is currently studying for a Masters at RCM, Kasia Ziminska (viola) is based in London and studied at the Guildhall School. Japanese cellist Shizuku Tatsuno won awards for excellence in Japan and subsequently also studied at the Guildhall School.
