ST PETER'S CONSORT : CHRISTMAS CONCERT : 16 DECEMBER 2019
Our Christmas concert sees us return to our spiritual home of Horbury, to give a concert of festive music from throughout the ages. The programme will include William Byrd's setting of O Magnum Mysterium and, to continue the 90th anniversary theme to our 2019 programme, Kenneth Leighton's A Christmas Carol. Also included will be arrangements by John Holt, a former stalwart of Consort, who died in September this year. We are pleased to welcome back Tom Moore as our organist for the occasion.
The concert will take place at St Peter and St Leonard's Church, Northgate, Horbury, WF4 6AS on 16 December starting at 7:30 pm (£12 or £10 concessions - 2019 Friends free). We do hope you can join us for this event - our final concert of what has been a very successful and enjoyable year for all of us at St Peter's Consort.
