Berkshire Community Foundation was established in 1985 and manages funds on behalf of a range of different donors and funding bodies to provide grants to tackle need at the grassroots of the Berkshire community. The Foundation will allocate applications to the most appropriate fund.
The Foundation aims to build stronger communities through giving grants to support the smaller groups which are doing vital work but have difficulties raising funds.
The Berkshire Community Foundation aims to:
• Help build stronger communities and enrich lives.
• Help local people and organisations manage their philanthropy and charitable giving.
• Influence the critical issues and needs affecting local communities.
