Open Rehearsal

Ashdown Singers

Ashdown Singers are inviting local singers to come along and join us at our first rehearsal after the summer break. 

We will be singing a range of different music that reflects our typical concert repertoire. This is mostly classical music, often unaccompanied, including composers from the Renaissance up to the present day. We have recently been exploring music written by women, and have found many beautiful but underrepresented pieces so newcomers may well discover some new music.

 We always welcome new members to the choir, but this evening is also about just enjoying making music together in a lovely setting with a great acoustic and having some fun on the way, with no strings attached.
