Ayr Choral present St. John Passion – Bach's masterpiece, directed by Andrew McTaggart, and with orchestral accompaniment from Caledonian Consort.  Our Guest Soloists are Matthew McKinney, ColinMurray, Catrin Price-Jones, Penelope Cousland, Ted Black and Will Frost.

Telling the Easter story in an intensely moving way, dramatic crowd scenes are mixed withhauntingly beautiful arias, short chorales and choruses – all held together by the narrative of the Evangelist.
