Beare Green and Newdigate Choral Society

Beare Green and Newdigate Choral Society are looking to recruit a new Music Director, to start in September - auditions will be in early September. Our current MD is moving on following a career move.

BGNCS is a small (25-30 strong) SATB village choir with a regular accompanist. We are in our 87th year. We sing classical and modern choral works plus lighter works too. A typical year sees us participating in Dorking's Leith Hill Festival in April, a regular activity since the choir was formed, plus singing carols for charity at Christmas and giving a concert in the summer. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7:45 to 9:45pm in Newdigate Village Hall, near Dorking, Surrey RH5

The successful candidate will need own transport.

Remuneration: competitive rates will be paid for rehearsals and for concerts, based on experience.
