Ross Hume (violin)

Ross, born and bred in Berwick, fell in love with the violin at the age of nine when taster sessions were offered to young people in schools. He has studied at the University of York and London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Ross has played with the Scottish Concert Orchestra and has worked with players from the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hallé, amongst many others. As well as performing, he is a teacher committed to helping children and students on their musical journey.

We are delighted to showcase Ross’s talents as a local artist of the highest calibre. His programme will include music by Beethoven and Wieniawski.
