Howard Goodall's Eternal Light is a contemporary requiem and performed on November 11th this year by Blackburn Music Society at St Silas' Church, it is a fitting response to Remembrance Day 2023.

Incorporating Latin texts and words from English poems, the work is accessible, moving and truly beautiful.
