BRIGHTON CONSORT, WITH THOMAS ALLERY (HARPSICHORD), EXPLORE ARCHITECTURE, MATHEMATICS AND MUSIC
If you’re intrigued about how these subjects are connected the next concert by Brighton Consort will help explain the mystery! Included in the choral pieces will be Bruckner’s setting of Locus Iste, as well as the famous Allegri Miserere – noted for its top Cs in the soprano part – and works by Machaut, Dufay, William Byrd and Herbert Howells.
The concert will take place on Saturday March 7th at 7.30pm in St George’s Church, Kemptown, Brighton. Tickets can be purchased online at www.brightonconsort.org.uk, or by ringing 01273 833746, or on the door.
