Bristol Concert Orchestra

Bristol Concert Orchestra • You-Chiung Lin (piano) • Stefan Hofkes (conductor & piano)

Saturday 18 March, 2017
St George's Bristol, 7:30pm

Debussy: Two Nocturnes (Nuages and Fêtes)
Mozart: Concerto for Two Pianos K.365
Dvorak: Symphony No.8
Marquez: Danzon No.2

Celebrating 20 years of Stefan Hofkes conducting Bristol Concert Orchestra with Dvorak's cheeriest Symphony (the 8th), two contrasting yet equally evocative Nocturnes by Debussy (Nuages and Fêtes) and a rare performance of Mozart's Concerto for Two Pianos with Stefan directing from the keyboard joined by one of our favourite soloists You-Chiung Lin (also celebrating a 20-year musical partnership with Stefan this year).

What better way to round of this musical celebration than a touch of South American vivacity with the Danzon No.2 by Marquez...come along and join the party!

There will be a retiring collection for Tenovus.
