2016 marks 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare. An amazing array of music has been composed to accompany films and for operas based on the Bard’s plays. To mark this special year, Bristol Metropolitan Orchestra performs works ranging from Verdi’s Macbeth to Prokofiev’s Romeo & Juliet (featuring the famous Montagues and Capulets). Join the Orchestra under the baton of its new, exciting conductor Tianyi Lu, for an evening in homage to the greatest playwright of all time.
