SPRING CONCERT: Requiems by Mozart and Karl Jenkins
Burgess Hill Choral Society
Two choral works performed by Burgess Hill Choral Society.: "Requiem" by Mozart and "Requiem" by Karl Jenkins.
A chance to hear requiems written by two very different composers: Mozart, a master of 18th century music in the “classical” style, and Karl Jenkins, a 21st century composer influenced by non-European music and jazz.
Burgess Hill Choral Society will be accompanied by the Sussex Mozart Players, conducted by Mike Wood BEM, our charismatic Musical Director. The concert features four soloists from the Royal Academy of Music.
Refreshments will be available during the interval.
The venue is a short taxi trip or 20 minute walk from Burgess Hill main line railway station (or 10 minutes walk from Wivelsfield Station). Car parking is available on streets near the venue. The venue has disabled access.
