Camden Symphony Orchestra Autumn Concert

Camden Symphony Orchestra

Camden Symphony Orchestra performs Dvořák’s most famous work, and one of the most popular pieces in the classical repertoire. Best known for its evocative Largo second movement, Dvořák’s Symphony No 9, 'From the New World', fuses influences from the Native American music Dvořák discovered when he moved to the United States and the musical traditions of his native Bohemia. This concert will also showcase the principal sections of the orchestra with Dukas’s fanfare for brass, Strauss’ Suite for Winds, and Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings.
