Cheltenham Bach Choir launches its 70th Anniversary Season with two of the most exciting and popular choral works in the repertoire. The Dixit Dominus by Handel is full of thrilling choruses, arias and sublime duets, the work of a composer at the height of his powers. Mozart's Requiem, its completion cloaked in mystery, is a profound and hugely powerful piece that never fails to move and transport the listener. A genius making one of his last musical statements. With four fantastic soloists, the excellent Regency Sinfonia and the choir on top form under music director David Crown, this is going to be an evening to remember.
