Chesterfield Philharmonic Choir

A collection of celebratory music, with two world premier performances of pieces commissioned from young composers by the choir: Sleep by Emily Abdy, and Laudate Dominum by Dave Hanson.

Supported by players from the Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band and accompanied by Jonathan Scott on the Organ, the choir will also perform the Gloria by John Rutter; Blest Pair of Sirens and I was glad by Hubert Parry, and O thou, the central orb by Charles Wood. Along with Crown Imperial by Walton.
