What does the well-loved hymn-tune 'Crimond' have in common with a solo song by 'New World' composer Dvorak and with the Vicar of Dibley? The answer is Psalm 23 'The Lord is my Shepherd’.

Psalm 23 - a favourite at both weddings and funerals - has been set to music by composers from Schubert to Leonard Bernstein.

So come to the Congresbury Singers’ Easter concert to hear a selection of musical settings of this Psalm. We begin with music over a thousand years old and end with the theme from television's 'Vicar of Dibley'.

This concert will take place in St Andrew's Church on Saturday 12 March at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 and can be obtained in advance from Congresbury Post Office, or simply pay on the door.
