Crickhowell Choral Society meets weekly in Crickchowell in the beautiful Brecon Beacons in Wales. Formed in 1981, it holds numerous concerts throughout the year and has organised an annual Music Festival every May since 1994. The Society attracts world-class professional vocal soloists and musicians to its Festival and explores rarely performed Baroque and early music alongside a broad repertoire of widely-known choral works, under the leadership of its Music Director, Stephen Marshall. The Society runs a very successful choral scholarshipscheme for local young people and is committed to offering a high standard of choral singing in the community.
