Our Summer Concert on June 30th features internationally acclaimed soloist Marco Fatichenti in a performance of Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No 3 – dramatic and deep music, and one of the most technically challenging piano concertos in the classical repertoire. Also on the programme are Kabalevsky's popular overture to Colas Breugnon, and Petrushka - Stravinsky's atmospheric ballet suite set at St Petersburg's Shrovetide Fair which tells the story of a tragic love triangle between three puppets.
