The East Malling Singers "Augmented Choir" with Kent Sinfonia presents Felix Mendelssohn's "Elijah"  under the direction of Ciara Considine.

Soloists Gillian Ramm (soprano), Rachael Lloyd (mezzo), James Edwards (tenor) and Simon Thorpe (baritone), with Nick Bland at the organ.

In a return to a popular format, guest singers from the local area will join us in presenting this beloved oratorio. EMS have not performed it since 2007, so we are looking forward to welcoming our guest singers and professional orchestra and soloists in our latest rendition.

Our production of Mendelssohn's Elijah in April is very generously supported by the Kent Community Foundation, whose grant allows young, student musicians the opportunity to play alongside and learn from professionals, accompanying our large four-part choir.
