Edinburgh Royal Choral Union

Edinburgh Royal Choral Union invites you to voyage with us to Paris, the City of Light, home to composers, artists, dancers and philosophers across the centuries. Paris's abundance of magical sacred spaces - as well as its famous café and salon culture - have provided inspiration and patronage for hundreds of composers, a selection of whose music features in this celebration of the Auld Alliance.

We feature sacred and secular music from some of the best known composers of the 19th century, including Berlioz, Debussy, Delibes, Fauré, Vierne and Widor, alongside masterpieces from more recent times by Lili Boulanger, Francis Poulenc and Yves Castagnet.
