Travel the world in music with the Falkirk Tryst Orchestra!

From the exotic colours of Strauss’s Egyptian March and John Ansell’s lively Silent Film Music, to the drama of Grieg’s Hall of the Mountain King and John Barry’s sweeping Out of Africa, this programme paints vivid pictures in sound.

We visit Scotland with Tom Cunningham’s Edinburgh Suite, Paris with Gershwin’s An American in Paris, and the English countryside with Vaughan Williams’s Folk Song Suite. The journey ends with the heart-stirring Largo from Dvořák’s New World Symphony.

An evening of familiar favourites and hidden gems – landscapes in music for everyone to enjoy.
