Finchley Chamber Choir

Finchley Chamber Choir and the Finchley Baroque Ensemble present an evening of Baroque music from some of the masters of the period. Bach’s Mass in G and Scarlatti’s Stabat Mater both represent high watersheds of the baroque style while containing a surprising range of rhythmic and harmonic variety. These major works bookend the delightful baroque favourites Beatus Vir by Monteverdi and Rejoice in the Lord Alway by Purcell.
