Mozart and Haydn

Fordingbridge Choral Society

Our programme this spring is a wealth of true Classical Period music and our concert is dedicated to our late friend and fellow member Pauline Umfreville.

We will be performing:

Joseph Haydn – Insanae et Vanae Curae

Mozart – Ave Verum

Mozart – Alcandro, lo Confesso

Mozart – Regina Coeli KV127

Michael Haydn – Requiem (Missa pro defuncto Archiepiscopo Sigismondo)

We will be joined by a highly accomplished quartet of soloists, soprano Amy Carson, mezzo-soprano Charlotte Tetley, tenor Edmund Hastings and bass-baritone Tim Dickinson all of whom sing internationally and have appeared in major concert halls throughout the UK. Additionally, we are joined by the professional players of the Edwards Ensemble.
