The Harmonie wind band prides itself in providing the opportunity for players to rehearse and perform concerts. We have no age restrictions or entry requirements - everyone is welcome to come and enjoy playing in a friendly atmosphere (including learners, returners and rusties). Membership is free for those in full time education.
The players meet every Wednesday from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. at Langley Secondary School, Solihull under the baton of Mr Chris Davies. We perform generally one major concert per term, often in collaboration with other groups or with special guest artists. The band also commissions works. The type of music we play ranges from popular classics and show medleys to new compositions.
As a registered charity any proceeds from events, are used for essential band costs and educational purposes.
