Brahms Ein Deutsches Requiem Come & Sing Workshop
10.30 - 18.15 Saturday 9th Oct 2021, St Mary’s Church, Henley on Thames, RG9 2AU
After so few opportunities for choral singing in the last 18 months, this is a wonderful chance for singers to get together and experience working on this sublime, humane and uplifting work. We’re inviting singers to join us for a one day Workshop under the brilliant baton of Peter Asprey, and with superb guest soloists Hilary Cronin, soprano, and Hugo Herman-Wilson, baritone and the combined talents of Henley Choral Society and Henley Youth Choir accompanists Peter Asprey and Anita D'Attellis playing Brahms’ own arrangement for four hands, one piano. All culminating in a performance with audience at 17.00. Score hire available (we are using Edition Peters.) And there will be home-made cake. Lots of cake.
We hope you can join us and look forward to welcoming you. Spread the word!
